In a drastic event of sheer ignorance and showcasing of muscle power, the pilot vehicle of the Kerala Education Ministers’ vehicle hit an ongoing ambulance and capsized it injuring 3 people in total.
Due to Kerala education minister, V Sivan Kutty’s trip, the road was closed, and a traffic policeman was stationed to stop all the other cars and let the minister’s convoy proceed, however, an ambulance carrying a patient and its family members were knocked out by the police jeep part of the minister’s convoy near Kottarakkara in Kollam district 70 KM away from the capital city of Kerala. The police jeep then hit a bike and stopped. The bike riders were safe. The incident was caught on a CCTV camera.

Going by the CCTV footage, the minister’s car was incoming from the wrong side. The education minister’s car kept going and didn’t even stop to see what happened. This showcases the ignorance they have for the public and the arrogant attitude they develop when they reach a higher position.
The injured were helped by police officers and locals. They were later admitted to a private hospital in Kottarakkara.
Right from elementary schools we have been taught that always make way for ambulances but the education minister seems to forget this lesson, or in fact, his haughtiness made him ignore this.
