In a horrific accident that took place in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli, a transformer explosion killed 15 and injured 7. Following the disastrous accident in Chamoli, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that a magisterial inquiry has been initiated.

Chamoli Accident: Injured Airlifted
Two of the seven injured were airlifted to AIIMS Rishikesh while the other five were admitted to a hospital in Gopeshwar.
The accident happened at the Namami Gange project site on the banks of the Alaknanda River in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district Wednesday at 11:35 am.
Among the killed at the Chamoli Accident, there is a police sub-inspector and three home guards who were present near the Chamoli sewage treatment plant, according to ADG (Law and Order) V Murugesan.
The officer also said that as per preliminary information, an electricity circulation on a metal railing caused the casualties.
