West Indies have won the toss and elected to bat against India in the first T20 International which will be played at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad. After winning the test as well as the ODI series India is on cloud nine but this time it is T20 where West Indies always have an upper hand as they have some of the best T20 players. Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, and Kyle Myers can change the whole course of the match in a span of a few balls.

Tilak Verma and Mukesh Kumar make India Debut
Indian caption Hardik Pandya plays three spinners – Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Axar Patel while Arshdeep Singh will lead the pace attack. Tilak Verma and Mukesh Kumar make their debut. Ishan Kishan and Shubhman Gill will open the batting while T20 specialist Surya Kumar Yadav will bat at his usual one-down. Tilak Verma, Hardik Pandya will take care of the middle order while Sanju Samson gets into the playing 11 after a blistering 50 in the third ODI.

For the West Indies, Kyle Mayers and Brandon King will open the batting while the middle order will be taken care of by Johnson Charles and Nicholas Pooran who is in the form of his life. Shimron Hetmyer and captain Rovman Powell will handle the lower middle order. Jason Holder plays as an allrounder while Romario Shepherd, Alzarri Joseph, and Obed McCoy will spearhead the bowling department. West Indies plays only one spinner in the form of Akeal Hosein.
