In a tragic accident that took place in busy New York City, a crane collapsed injuring 12. Out of the injured, nine are civilians and three are firefighters. All the injured were transported to local hospitals.
As reported by CNN, thankfully all the injured suffered non-life-threatening injuries after the crane collapsed on Wednesday. The CNN report said quitting, the Fire Department of New York.

Deputy Commissioner Joseph W. Pfeifer said at a news conference that during the accident, one of the firefighters had chest pains and was transported to an area hospital. Pfeifer also added some civilian injuries were to construction workers.
The incident occurred at a construction site on 10th Avenue and 41st Street, where firefighters responded to a five-alarm fire that broke out before the boom of the crane collapsed, striking a building across the street. The fire has been put out. FDNY officials were using drones late Wednesday morning to get a closer look at the crane.
