The victim, Nargis, and the accused Irfan were first cousins and Nargis’s father Suljat trained him to become a mechanic. Irfan used to live with the family, but once he started harassing Nargis, Suljat asked him to leave for his native village Auraiya in Uttar Pradesh. When Irfan’s business didn’t go well in Auraiya, he came back to Delhi and started living in Sangam Vihar.

Delhi Girl Murder Case – Father Wants Justice
As reported to Hindustan Times, Suljat said, “Nargis was her only daughter and he wants justice for her. He wants Irfan to get strict punishment. We will never forgive him for what he has done.”
Nargis’s brother Sameer told said that his father refused the marriage proposal and my sister too didn’t want to marry him. Sameer continued by saying, “Irfan knew that Nargis used to go to steno coaching classes every day. He followed her for some days and killed her inside the park on Friday. My sister was a bright student. She did her graduation with Hindi honors and was preparing for government job exams.”
Nargis, a DU college student was killed by Irfan when he hit her with an iron rod multiple times. It is reported that Nargis’s family refused the marriage proposal of Irfan. The accused has been arrested.
The Delhi Girl Murder Case has shocked the capital city with many people again raising the question of woman insecurity. Every other day there is a new case against woman in Delhi, only the name changes the crime remains the same.
