Stuart Broad, who made the announcement on Saturday during the ongoing Ashes series, will bid farewell to his 17-year-old international career after the fifth Test match.
Yuvraj Singh who once ruled limited overs cricket but retired in 2019, still holds a lot of character in cricket circuits and time and again makes himself present sending bowlers up and high in the Legendary cricketers T20 series, or taking a jibe at his fellow mates or recreating the six sixes he hit in 2007. Notably, Yuvraj and Broad had an iconic face-off during the inaugural ICC T20 World Cup in 2007, where Yuvraj Singh created history by smashing six sixes in an over against Stuart Broad. Despite that memorable incident, Broad’s career continued to soar, and he kept improving with each game.
Broad concludes his Test career with an impressive record of 602 wickets in 167 matches. He has also showcased his batting skills with 3656 runs, including one century and thirteen fifties. In ODIs, Stuart Broad played 121 matches, claiming 178 wickets, while in T20Is, he secured 65 wickets in 56 matches.
The pacer was a key member of England’s ICC T20 World Cup-winning squad in 2010, adding another feather to his illustrious cap.
